July 2008 Eugene completes Haier, and plays gigs at South Bridge Jazz Club in Singapore, Peel Fresco Music Lounge, Visage and Classic Rock at Backstage  
   
June 2008 Eddie completes part 2 of a Pepsi campaign, a Mary Kay ad, a Lipton ad and a Cathay Pacific in-house video, and also finishes a new song for Jan Lamb, plus 24 Herbs perform for Let's Fight Round 3. Eugene completes Pizza Hut Sausage Bite and plays gigs at Prive, Backstage, the Fringe Club with Japanese Trumpeter Shinzo Ono and at Spencer's Midsummer Jazz Festival in England.  
   
June 2008 The heaviest rain-storm ever recorded in Hong Kong, on June 7th, in which 145mm fell during one hour, and over 300mm during the morning, left the Drum Music building flooded to a depth of half a metre, and took out all the elevators. Fortunately as all our studios are on the 30th Floor, we are still fully operational!  
   
May 2008 Eddie completes Pocari, Watson's, Disney and Pepsi ads, plus another three 24 Herbs concerts, in KL for the "What's Good" party, at Club Sugar in Central, and an anniversary for alivenotdead.com at Cliq. Pete completes ads for Mastercard and Acuvue and goes on holiday. Eugene completes a film score for the HK movie "City Without Baseball 無野之城" (poster>, trailer>) and plays gigs at Peel Fesco Music Lounge, Rolling Stones "Shine The Light" Premier party, Classic rock at Grappa's, and at Shenzhen Concert Hall with his quartet and at Philia.  
   
April 2008 Eddie complete's Coke "Red Carpet", Sun Hung Kai Finance, Lucozade, and Watson's ads, plus two 24 herbs gigs, one for Poly Muso at Hi Tech Star Hall, and another at Club PP. Eugene completes Comfort and Stayfree ads, plus gigs at Visage,Peel Fresco Music Lounge, Sevva, Backstage, and now.com moov live with Jun Kung and KEF demo in Beijing.  
   
March 2008 Eddie completes Manulife, McDonald's Big & Tasty, Enwei, Magnum ice Cream with Shu Qi, and some World Gold Council Ads, also 24 Herbs perform for Chinese Uni at Hi Tech Star Hall. Pete completes three regional campaigns for Sony, including onef for Handycam featuring kids making a mess, the music of which acheives cult status on YouTube - see here>. Eugene completes KFC "Fishing", Crest, Magnum (inc. live violin), Chang You Yoghurt, and gigs with the Eugene Pao Band at California Club, Peel Fresco Music Lounge and with the legendary Georgie Fame at Grappa's.  
   
February 2008 Lots of interviews following the 24 Herbs album release. Cable TV, Milk Mag gives us about 6 pages, Respect Mag gives us a feature and cover, radio interviews with Sum Mei, Siu Yee, Inti, GC Goobie, Mini etc. Our song Respect Chou OK makes top15 on CR2. HMV lists as top 5 in Asian CD chart for about 2 weeks. 24Herbs now reheasing for upcoming Diesel/Adidas show Feb 27th, Josie Ho's show on March 2nd at Hi Tech Center, and Poly U and Chinese Uni shows also in March.  
   
February 2008 Pete completed a international campaign for Abu Dhabi airline, Etihad Airways back in December, and now he has written a lot of new music to add to the 90s spot, to make a total of 30 minutes, for use as Etihad's boarding music. Check it out on any Etihad Airbus.  
   
February 2008 24Herbs Debut Album is launched into orbit on the 24th Feb. Delay No Mall hosts a great party for the album launch. Albums for sale at all major records shops, please support and buy a copy. This project has taken much blood, sweat and beers... oops I mean "tears". See videos here>, here> and here>.  
   
January 2008 Ponds, Reebok, Magnum, Mcd 24Hours with Eason, SKII, Manulife, Palmolive, Acuvue, Hazeline, Standard Charter and lots of rehearsals makes January a super busy month.

November 2007 It is with much sadness that we mark the passing of Stoney Mudd: Hong Kong advertising legend, inspiration, guru, wordsmith, man of ideas, raconteur, tower of strength, confidante, father-figure, brother, and above all, friend. Rest In Peace, Stones.

Feburary 2005 Projects recently completed by Drum include;– cues for China's first fully digital animation movie, "Thru The Mœbius Strip"; music, sound design and mixing for MTV Asia's cutting edge (banned in China already!) comedy series, Aiya; a series of huge Pepsi commercials for China and Thailand, featuring a whole range of regional stars; and a song for animal charity Doctor Dog, to be sung by children across Hong Kong and China. We have also given another lecture at City University in Hong Kong which was followed up with a day for students at our new studio.
   
December 2004 Eugene has just released his latest project, in DVD and SACD formats. It was recorded live at the Academy For Performing Arts, shot in Hi-Definition TV and mixed in full 5.1 surround sound.

The Singapore movie "City Sharks" which features music from Celestial, garners rave reviews and wins three awards to date. Negotiations are underway for a pan-Asian release.

The Drum team expands again with the addition of Eugene Pao. Eugene is an old friend and also probably the best known jazz guitarist in Asia.

The Drum team expands with the addition of Clement Fung. Hong Kong born Clement is a composer with education and experience from the US and the UK.

JWT win the Kam Fan at the Hong Kong 4A's award show for their Kit Kat campaign. The music, which was composed by Drum, also won the Gold in the Broadcast Crafts section for sound.

Drum completes the new regional campaign for Dragonair - shot in countries all over the region. The ad employs the different styles of Dragon Dancing found in the region, and the accompanying drums, singing and percussion, are all featured in the dramatic score.

A new remix of Celestial's "Plum Crazy"(by Black Dragon) is featured on the Universal CD release Eastern Sunrise - a compilation of Asian Chill Out sounds - now being released throughout the region.

Celestial's "Happy Valley" is released by ToCo International in Singapore - with Hong Kong shortly to follow. It has already entered the World Music Chart in the Singapore HMV

The SE Asian version "Café Del Mar Volumen Ocho" (number eight in the popular compilation series of chill out music) features a track from Drum. "Plum Crazy (Version)" is a track from forthcoming Celestial album "Happy Valley" - we are hoping to have some news about the asian release of this album shortly.
